NOMA students in Dhaka show their solidarity

On Sunday 31 of July, NOMA (Norad’s Programme for Master Studies) students in journalism and media studies at Dhaka University initiated a peaceful rally condemning the brutal terrorist attacks in Norway. The demonstration was held at the university campus, with the sculpture Oporajeo Bangla, symbolising freedom and peace in Bangladesh, as a powerful symbolic back drop.

According to the organisers the objective of the rally was to oppose the practice of brutal attacks as a way to spread fear and hatred and create differences around the world.programme funded through Norad’s Programme for Master Studies (NOMA).
